Those people are apparently represented as arid vegetable subjects, but they contains the characteristics they need to defend themselves from the drought, an interior life resource that metaphorically expresses the culture to which the human being draws in order to feed of fertilizing creativeness. The ample leaves of cactus become rich drops of knowledge, a joyful and prolific expression of the Artist’s imagination during his meditation about the life resources. That is why the picture has been created for the exhibition “Drops of Utopia”.
