A DIVE IN THE SEA – 2012 – 80×80

 

 

 

The apparently realist representation of a female shoe on the beach discloses deep meaning traces. The message brought in this context by the turtle is assimilated to a woman’s slow walk that suddenly stops herself on the sea shore. The decorative pattern of the décolleté shoe is composed by a series of newborn turtles, that surrealistically find themselves once again on the beach, that is the environment that gave them the life. The story the Master wants to tell in the work is probably the one of a woman walking on the sand, who leaves her shoes to make a dive in sea, as a symbol of rebirth crowned by the sky, lighting up after the threat of a storm.
